GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I really liked school there, I just wished we would've done more ACT practice, and more project based learning rather than tests to show knowledge

Overall, my experience here was enjoyable. Even though we had a below average amount of extra curricular activities to attend, the ones we did have were highly supported by the staff here. The atmosphere here was mostly welcoming.

It's ok. The school is not the best but it is not the worst. Merrill high school offers a lot of dual credit and AP classes in which students can earn college credits. The school tends to push students to go to a 2 year tech program instead of a 4 year college. Within the passed 4 years I have been attending this school it has taken better precautions on the safety and well being of students however it could be better.

Not only did I see neglect in education and wellbeing of students when I was in school, but now I am seeing it with my own family now attending the school. I feel the sports program at the Merrill High School is comical. The coaches do not provide the same opportunities for all the students playing...

Classes are more about attendance rather than grades. Teachers are there for only the money not for the future of the students. After COVID-19 hit the area, the schools just been getting worse. Not looking like a bright future for Merrill Schools.

Not good, they care more about attendance than grades. Many administration policies needs change but the board of education will not approve or listen to you.
