During my time at Homer Iddings Elementary, the teachers were extremely kind and helpful to any issue you had. Bullying was not very much of a threat, and even though students are primarily African-American, it is an incredibly inclusive school ! In Merrillville, students often report that the private school of Aquinas is better for academics and a sense of inclusion. However, due to the cost difference, sending your children to Iddings is a fair choice

I enjoy having my kids go through Iddings. The staff is great and they helped us when our son was diagnosed with autism.
