Serving just under 120 students in kindergarten through sixth grade, Concordia Charter School is one of two schools in the Concordia Charter School Inc. School District in Mesa. The school believes that having highly developed extra-curricular programs is crucial to its students' development. These programs include free tutoring, field trips, recreational activities, clubs and more.
The school offers a student-to-teacher ratio of 16-to-1, and over 40% of the students are considered English language learners.
The school first opened in 2004 and is located on the campus of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Concordia Charter School offers free or cost-reduced lunches to 95% of the enrolled population.
This highly regarded institution was awarded an FFVP BRAVOcado Excellence award for the 2019-2020 school year, which is an award given to schools that exceed expectations concerning their consistency and variety in serving fresh fruits and vegetables.

This is a very special small school. Classes are limited to 18 students. Lower grades have classroom aides. Concordia uses the Core Knowledge Language Arts Sequence and Saxon Math.
