The school is committed to preparing students for college and to become vital contributors to society, and its robust curriculum reflects this. Webster has a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1, offering students the opportunity for individualized attention if needed. Webster serves the needs of its students by providing over 90% of the enrolled students with free or reduced lunch, close to 40% over the state average. The original school was first built in 1910 before burning down, and the institution was forced to relocate multiple times until the current Webster Elementary school was built in 1959. The school is a part of the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program, a program is dedicated to preparing students of all backgrounds for success in higher education. It focuses on leadership, critical thinking, teamwork and organizational skills. In addition, this program helps to close opportunity and achievement gaps that students may face. Webster believes that active involvement from every member of the school's community is crucial to the educational development of children.

Webster is a great school, My daughter goes there and has enjoyed it the whole time. I am happy with her progress, and the teachers have communicated very well during our time here. The school is a safe and secure location for kids to learn. (as safe as any school in America can be)
