GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It was nice to have relatively smaller classes than I had in Florida. The conservative atmosphere felt very unwelcoming at the time. The food was good.

Overall it's a good school, but there is much room for improvement. The staff is friendly, but at times need to be pushed to get much done. As with any school, there are some amazing teachers and some that need some work to be an effective educator. Also, the building needs some TLC since the roof leaks and there are holes in the building that birds have made nests.

I liked the smallness of my high school. I knew everybody and everybody knew me. I had a personal connection with all of my teachers and had a lot of friends. I would like to see a change in the poverty of the community. It limits the amount that students can get involved.

This school has not changed and if it has, it's for the worse. The principal doesn't listen to students' concerns. Also, their literary skills are the worst I've ever seen. I thought my skills were average at best, but now that I've been here, I think it's way above average. Seriously, half of the h...

Mesick School has really went down hill. Some if the students are just not happy about learning. I feel is in part of how they treat their staff. I'm not sure if it is the school board or administration. Some of their favorite people have either been shifted around or let go. This has seemed to had...

This is one of the worst schools. Out of 7 teachers my daughter had only one cared to help her. The teachers just do not care. They are only there for a paycheck.
