The teachers create a fun and educational environment. The sports and clubs are very well run and are enjoyable to improve skills and make new friends.

Metuchen High School has an excellent music program and encourages its students to explore all of their interests and become more well-rounded individuals.

Comparing my high school education to others in college, I can say confidently that MHS prepared me adequately; I didn't feel at a disadvantage towards those from private schools, magnet schools, or other public schools. its a good school but if you are interested in after school extra curricular activities, like sports, many of the coaches are biased and only favor students who are white, like the cheer leading coach who only favors white girls and does team selections unfairly. Metuchen is a wonderful town to raise a child in. I moved back here to raise my son. The school spirit is wonderful, as are the teachers and curricula.
