GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall a great school, there are a lot of programs for college readiness and specific career areas like art and music. The student body itself is diverse but could be overall safer.

The best parts about my experience would be the connections I have made with my teachers, most of the staff is amazing. The worst parts of my experience would be the students, but anything that the school can actually do about this, has basically already been done.

Mexico High School for me was a time to grow with the people around me and what helped me grow as a young adult were not only my peers around me. But the staff. Some of the teachers were willing to have meaningful deep conversations and really get to know their students to this day I still speak to some of those teachers. Mexico not only had great staff for loving and caring but also great support. I don't think I would have gotten through some of my classes without the support and resources I had available. I was going through school with learning disabilities. It wasn't easy but the amazing staff and support that was available got me through it and they made me believe in myself more to the point I am now attending and will be graduating college and will go on to get my masters.
