Shenandoah Elementary School is a public prekindergarten through fifth-grade school located in Miami, Florida. The school serves over 700 students and has a student-teacher ratio of 16 to 1.
Shenandoah follows guidelines, set by board members and the superintendent, that give teachers and students the framework in which to be successful in all aspects of teaching and learning. The school also features multilingual services that help with learning a second language as well as academic achievement. In order to effectively implement these services, the school looks to assist in and promote cultural awareness, quality services through the utilization of best practices, and active involvement from all community members.
Shenandoah offers a variety of extracurricular activities that give students the opportunity to showcase their skills outside of the classroom. These activities include Student Council, Recycle Club, Running Club, Battle of the Books, Broadcasting, Tutoring, and Patrols. The school also has multiple recreational fields and basketball courts on its campus.

This school has 2 security guards. Kids are left barely supervised before class and during lunch. Classrooms have too many kids. Classes with two teachers which have twice as many kids in them are not guaranteed a substitute if one calls out. This school is not setting up our kids or their teachers...

I would rate this school 10-10 teachers are always helpful and strive for the success of the students. My daughter loves going to school everyday because of how amazing her teachers have been in keeping her interested and learning.
