GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The sense of community is very strong and you always feel like you are being supported. You always know who you can go to for support which is very reassuring.

It was a really good school. I am proud to be a Michigan Center Alumni. This school has excellent teachers and would help with all the questions I had problems with. During the whole applying for college process they were so helpful. I loved the sports there too they were so fun.

They are a good school. Gives you many opportunities to learn. However, the one thing I would change would be the amount of money they spend on sports and put it in their lunch room food, it's not trustworthy. To add to that, I would change the fact that junior high is also in the school. As the number of kids in the grades increases, the more crowded the school is becoming.

The amount of bullying that is just tolerated at this school is ridiculous. Had to pull my student out because me the staff wouldn’t do anything about it.

They let my child drop a science course for the year to have another extracurricular instead. They didn't even ask me, or have me sign anything. At the open house they said that they are training the future labor force, so just make sure your child shows up every day, on time.

My kid goes to the middle school, and has been bullied all year. We have made countless complaints, only to fall on the dead ears of a principal who could care to be bothered. Parents beware if your kids go there and you have a problem you will be on your own.
