When I went here it was the worst years of my life. Middle school ruined everything for me, I got given death threats weekly and the staff did NOTHING about it because the student who was doing this worked for the elementary school. Some teachers are good like the 8th grade math teacher is so kind and funny, and the 8th grade English teacher was pretty good. Going to this school almost my whole life ruined my mental health and I'll never forgive this school for it.

I went here for all 4 years of high school, with 2 of these years being affected by COVID. The experience was alright. I never felt challenged academically here, all the classes could have been more challenging. Even the AP courses were pretty easy. And I don't feel like the classes adequately prepared me for college. I mean, I had straight As and took AP courses and still felt ill-prepared when it came to writing and math. The kids and teachers were all generally nice, except for the few outliers. The school values football above all else, and I wish it wasn't like that. We could have used some clubs to join, like an art club or book club, etc - things that aren't sport-centric or academics-centric.

My overall experience with Middlesboro schools in general have been bitter sweet. I want to graduate and I am excited to explore new opportunities. This school has helped me overall as a person and student. Teachers and resources that are offered are amazing, there are always a person you can talk to or get advice from. It is a safe and welcoming school.

She has done very well on her college entrance exams and plans to go to a top college. I question this site's rating system if it does not giv...

Our children do well and thrive at Middlesboro High School. The educators and the supportive community help the student exceed and train them to compete in the larger world. We try to focus our children on academics, however, the school's sports and arts programs are wonderful, too. The Middlesboro...
