Bullying is a serious issue here. The "role model" girls put on a facade for the faculty. If you aren't "popular" or "in their circle", then you most likely are talked about or made fun of. During my time at Mercy, the worst act of bullying I saw was when girls were pretending to be friends and act "nice" with another girl. Meanwhile, they would laugh and take pictures of her behind her back. The education might be great but trust me, the trauma from bullying is not worth it.

Being a closed community, Mercy is a very close knit school- that can be both a good and bad thing. One thing I would love to change about the school is the lack of diversity. I am one of two girls who is African-American in the entire senior class. I would also change the way that people are judged as well. There have been multiple cases of racism which were never dealt with- whether it was due to white privilege or something else, I wouldn't know.

Mercy High School has been a very warm and welcoming place for me for the last few years, however I can see how it's an acquired taste and how some people may not feel comfortable attending.

It's been a totally wonderful experience for my daughter. It's nice to see the older girls interact with the younger girls and taking them under their wing. So far it's been awesome!

Mercy High School is an extremely special place where I learned, grew, and developed. After having spent four years here, I am confident that I could not have received a better education or experienced a more loving atmosphere elsewhere. Mercy makes saying goodbye very difficult, but I know that the...
