GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love my school and its environment. My teachers have all been pleasant and my school feels like a big family. I do feel like our school corporation doesn't handle situations well. I don't like how they have handled Covid-19. A lot of it has been out of their hands but whatever they can handle they haven't been doing it well. I also feel like some of my schools priorities are off. Other than that its a good school with a great learning experience.

It's a very family-friend kind of school. It's small, about 400 kids or at least around there. Everyone is very caring and supportive, it was a great 4 years I'm that high school. I'm sad that it's time to move on to college, buy I'm proud that I will be receiving my diploma from Shenandoah.

There isn't much variety in the classes like there are no business classes and we just got trade classes this year. There are basically the essential subjects and thats it.

Advising kids that truck drivers and auto mechanics is a great careers and setting their class schedules accordingly . This high s...

Your everyday, typical, small, rural school... shs is full of friendly people, but the options for activities and classes is very limited, especially with staff and budget cuts

I am a parent to several children who have and are still passing through the SHS system. I feel the school, as a whole, has made great strides academically and continue to find ways to focus on our children as individuals. Every school, big or small, has an array of good, better and best staff. I fe...
