GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have been going to Dale County High School for four years & I would have to say the best experience was the trips for sports. I would have to say my worst experience was not being involved! I would like to see more involvements!

Great school with great teachers. Sports options are good and they help you if you need to change schedules for any reason. They aren't great about accommodations for health concerns.

The only notable thing about this school is only the band. Most staff are just there for money and not to further their student's education or potential. If you go here, go ahead and transfer to Caroll High School or somewhere else. You won't find opportunities at this school unless you're in FFA or play a sport. TL;DR This school only cares about sports and FFA. If you aren't in any, you're done for. Lots of racist people here and people who don't care for your well being,
