This is one of those hidden gems...small school, students get individualized attention and have the opportunity to be successful in academics, sports, clubs, music. If your goal is to go to a high school and be able to do it all, well, this is the one.

Midland Park Jr./Sr. High school has provided me with the tools and knowledge to grow as a person and a student. While there are some things they can improve upon, this school is by far the best place I could have been for my high school years.

MPHS is a great place to live and attend school. My class as a Senior is only a little over 80 people, so you know everyone. The Parents turn up to all out games home or away. The one thing I would change is to have a more in depth counseling team that knows more about scholorships both academic and sports to help reduce the cost of college.

I had a great experience at this school. The teachers are very nice, supportive, and encouraging. They always help the students. The principal is very cooperative. The school environment is safe. Though the nurse needs to be more caring about the students and should always follow up with them. But o...

Wonderful school. I could have gone to a different school in the area like Bergen Tech or Bergen Academies, but I truly would have missed Midland Park schools. I don’t have a bad word to say about this school district.

I used to be a student here until I transferred to a private school (which many graduating eighth graders do). The administration, methods, technology, and college prep is behind many years. Many people I know still in this school have almost no college direction and it is not uncommon for seniors t...

Because the school is small, there is a great deal of flexibility. Underclassmen can take courses far earlier in their educational careers than elsewhere. The small class size means that educators and administrators really know their students and have time for them. Relationships built with teachers...
