Beyond traditional academic classes like language arts, math, science and social studies, this school offers resources that challenge students as they enter higher levels. Students can join the orchestra to learn how to play a string instrument and be part of an ensemble. As students progress in grade, they explore more challenging technical skills and expand their musical expression on various instruments. Through the school’s drama program, students can practice performing in front of an audience through poetry, newscasts and staged productions. Midlothian Middle encourages students to participate in sports throughout the year, offering basketball, soccer, cheerleading and track. The home of the Mustangs is a great school for academic achievement and personal success through music, sports and clubs.
