My daughter is in lower school and we are so far extremely happy with the school in general. This is her 3rd year and all her teachers were excellent, the atmosphere in the class is great. She absolutely loves it. As for diversity her class has students of different cultural backgrounds and faiths and I feel that this is highly promoted and valued. I hope it remains as such as she grows.

I am a recent alum of The Dutchess Day School. I do not feel like the school supported me and the administration is not kind or compassionate. Although I got excellent grades, participated in all extracurricular activities offered and am a good athlete I did not get into any of my top secondary schools.

Dutchess Day School has an incredibly supportive community which results in confident students eager to engage in all aspects of the academic and extra-curricular opportunities offered to them.

There is not a better education to be had in the area. The teachers are thoughtful, committed and nurturing. There is ample hands on learning and applied learning.
