They don't deal with bullying, they don't look after children's wellbeing, they have teachers that do nothing when problems reported and make promises they don't keep.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a student from the Millbrook School. The campus is absolutely gorgeous with great views and opportunities to explore nature. The faculty is filled with top tier teachers but also better humans. I felt they really wanted to best for me both as a student but also as a person. Millbrook offers great athletic opportunity with most sports boasting a schedule versus high competition and coaches that played at the collegiate level. Millbrook's athletic program does a great job of preparing athletes for their next step through development of skill but also as people via culture. The small campus allows for quick walks to buildings while also knowing all of your peers. I fully credit Millbrook for developing me into who I am today and also providing me with the athletic development to play college sports.

It originally my last resort to get into a private school, but now it's a great experience that I never want to change. The worst part was being sent home for med leave since they couldn't really do anything about it, but the best thing was meeting people who had similar yet different views in life.

Ripped my family apart. The school CFO represented my son against me ( read Parental Alienation) in Duchess County. Then the new Headmaster took my two children into the school with no paperwork. Really a fantastically supportive environment. The academics are rigorous without being punishing. The teachers there are low-key and also stimulating. The school really steps up with its values. My daughter has been at Millbrook for 2 years and is thriving. Academics, community service and after school activities have been just right for her. A truly great school!
