Millbrook was great for our son. He learned to manage his time, dramatically improved his writing skills and was able to develop relationships with teachers and staff. It prepared him very well for college.

I came to Millbrook at a 14 year old living in California, which required a significant adjustment of life and pace at a young age. Millbrook provided me with a community of people, both faculty and students, which became a support system to aid me as I grew into a responsible adult over the next four years. Living in the dorms so far away from home was hard, at times, but those moments really made it possible to see what growth I experienced as I thrived in my personal development.

Ripped my family apart. The school CFO represented my son against me ( read Parental Alienation) in Duchess County. Then the new Headmaster took my two children into the school with no paperwork. Really a fantastically supportive environment. The academics are rigorous without being punishing. The teachers there are low-key and also stimulating. The school really steps up with its values.
