GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I attended Millburn Middle School a couple years ago and couldn't have asked for a better school. Wonderful teams of teachers with a responsible administration

The school was okay. The teacher are cool. But diversity is meh. Very nice school and library. Cafeteria food there is the worst. What a rip off. It is like 4 dollars for a pasta bowl and 5 for a pizza. The Internet is okay but the laptops that they give you is okay.

Millburn middle is a great school academically, the social aspect is different. There is definitely A LOT of social pressures, you just need to find a good group of friends. Also take advantage of your teachers, most teachers are there to help you after school. 8th grade is very tough in every aspect, just work hard and you will be fine.

Super smart kids that are excited about learning in elementary school become stress filled by 7th grade. The teachers and administrat...

Our experience in the school was average-above average. Overall the kids are very smart and a lot of parents are super involved. That’s what results in strong testing and overall high academic achievement. Our impression is that the teachers just about average overall. There was hardly any one who sp...

Way too much homework, emphasis on testing (without the courtesy of promptly sending home graded work!!) and grades! unnecessary stress. Overcrowded cafeteria that should have been renovated/expanded 20 years ago but always gets shifted to the lowest priority in the district. (Right now the highest...
