GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My overall experience at Hiland High School has been pretty positive. There are just a few negatives but that's because we are such a small school compared to all the other schools. This leads to less opportunities and programs that aren't as big. As an art and music student, we don't get much funding for the school so we are limited on certain supplies. The art teachers are great though and have helped me so much during my time at Hiland.

I really like the school overall. Everyone is super nice and the teachers actually really care about the students. I enjoy getting to know everyone and experiencing some of the different cultures. I also enjoy the many different activities including Hawk Time.

Great small school with academic excellence. Small community and also very safe. Teacher to student ratio is small as well.

Their christian roots still hold strong today as they have prayer meetings. Sports program is loved by whole student body and familile...
