The teachers at CCTEC are some of the best teachers I have ever had. I feel like I have connections with them because they care about us and the students care about them. Also some teachers just don't want to be there. One of the things that is helpful is that there are so many communities in the school. Some of the communities have clubs. Two examples are Gaming Club and Gay and Straight Alliance. There are not as many bullies in the school. I feel like it is not very easy to write to your school counselor and say you are being bullied. There is an anonymous form that anyone can fill out if they feel unsafe or are bullied.

It has been a great experience, I have learned so much and have been given so many opportunities. One of the best things is my ability to earn my associates with our community college while still in high school without worrying about the costs. I have also been able to learn about cosmetology and am being properly prepared to take my exam to receive my license. I have really enjoyed my experience at CCTEC.

Being a student here has been such a fun experience. I am able to make friends easily and have a fun and comfortable school environment. I am also academically challenged with CTE classes and honors and college level classes. This school makes me college and career ready.
