The teachers and staff are supportive and push students, but the student body environment is not particularly welcoming, and extracurriculars are few and far between.

Penquis Valley has always fell behind in academics and sports. Being in such a small town its not great when everybody is consistently in everybody else's business. I have lived in Milo my whole life and spent all 8 years in Penquis and I would never want my future children to go here. So many of the kids here come from troubled homes and the teachers are too focused on getting every kid to graduate rather than everybody be intelligent and do what school was made for. The school is consistently understaffed and always are in need for new teachers. I would personally never like to teach here when I finish college.

Very few teachers care about the students and those who do are the ones getting ready to retire. Bullying is very bad here and no one does anything. The kids treat the teachers so bad they can barely find teachers.

This is the best school ever. We get to have iPads. We get to have icecream and we get to switch classes. That is my favorite part we don't have to sit in one class room anymore we can get up and go to differnt rooms. But I don't like at luch we have to sit at sine seats in the cafeteria
