Gray Stone Day School is a public charter school designed to prepare for college. Academically this school has challenged me a lot and pushed me to reach my full potential.

It's a great school. I don't love the current principle, but the teachers there are great, they enjoy teaching, the students understand that they are expected to behave well and work for their achievements and that doing so gives them some freedoms, and it's very clearly college-oriented.

Gray Stone has great resources to help with applying to colleges and scholarships. It also has many opportunities to take AP classes and some dual enrollment classes. Some AP classes are not as beneficial because they are often given to a teacher who hasn't taught it before, making it harder to pass the AP test. There also isn't a large variety of classes to take, especially in the STEM category.
