Lake Arbor Elementary School at 10205 Lake Arbor Way within the Lake Arbor neighborhood serves approximately 600 prekindergarten through fifth grade students. Known as the Lake Arbor Lions, the entire school team ascribes to the acronym ‘ROAR’ as they uphold their four shared principles to be Respectful, Orderly, Attentive and Responsible. Students here wear navy and white uniforms daily unless it’s a Spirit Wear Friday. The surrounding community is sidewalked and well-treed, and the school is directly adjacent to Arbor Park, a wide open green space with tennis courts and play equipment.
In addition to the school’s academic curriculum including art, music, physical education, math and more, students can also participate in student government or after-school cheer squad as fun ways to further their development. Many of the teachers here have been with the school since it opened more than 20 years ago, offering the community long-term experience with guiding the youngest school-agers toward preparation for middle and high school.
