The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My overall experience as a former Moline High School students was good. I enjoyed most of my instructors and I felt the education was good. If the school could change anything, I think there should be more classes that would benefit students academically at all levels. It seems like the classes were either too easy or too hard. I also feel like the school could do a better job at preparing students for college when it comes to homework and studying.

It was a very good experience where the school was constantly looking for ways to improve itself by bettering some of the offerings many schools had. They improved our sports facilities and are currently working on being more inclusive in our food options. They were very involved with there students lives with a couple of hiccups.

The teachers are helpful, sincere and available. They never are pushy or rude. The kids for most part are respectful and are pleasant to be with. It is a serious campus but fun as well. Enjoy a play or a musical in the fine arts pavillion or a basketball game in a warm and comfortable athletic cente...

This school has done nothing to prepare my child for college. They have no study habits because they don’t need to study because they will get an A no matter what. Every assignment /test is only worth 1% of their grade. What a joke. A test should be worth way more. This shows if the kid is really le...

I loved attending mhs. I always felt safe and had many friends. The teachers are mostly good. Some don't care, but the ones who do make up for it. Mr. Digioia (art teacher) was and still is the best teacher I've ever had.
