My overall experience has been good with the exception of when I transferred in they did not take into consideration courses I completed in 8th grade when I was at a Catholic Grade School and felt my freshman year I repeated a lot I already learned. Other than that, I felt the teachers prepared me for college. I even my first semester of senior year attended some college classes which I felt also further prepared me.

Best high school in the area. Lots of funding for football team, almost too much. School is somewhat up to date. Decent teachers, lots of classes to choose from. Block scheduling.

Central Valley High School is a great school. There are many teachers who care and will help you with homework. I like this school because you get to pick which classes you want, but you still have to take required courses. This school has an amazing football field and team. We have many athletics to choose from including track, football, tennis, swimming, and more. We also have a cyber course for the students.

This school graduated its last class in 2010 therefore, reviews after that date do not reflect on the current school district "Central Valley

As a graduate from '09, I can say that Center/Central Valley's academics are mediocre. There are a few good teachers left here, but many of them will retire soon. Center does not challenge students who need it. Teachers and guidance counselors recommend that students go to Penn State-Beaver, Slipper...

From the perils of enormous distractions and side shows anyone can achieve anything however the ODDS are not in your favor. School is an institution of learning not a day holding cell for the disinterested. This school has many disinterested, thereby needing side show entertainments to keep the lost...

Terrible schools. Political hires that do not prepare children for college. FAR too many students on the "honor rolls". Will end up like Aliquippa.
