The monett school system itself is poor. Central park elementary is a down fall. They do not let you know anything about your child till report card time and then just pass the buck on it. If you ask for something six months later you finally get answer. There is no care about education of students....

My daughter has had a great teacher and she loves to go to school. They have worked hard in areas she may struggle and have given her more challenging assignments where she does well.

The Monett school district over-all is good; I find Central Park Elementary to be the worst in the district though-the principal is not available for the parents, the superintendent is out of touch as well, and the staff does not communicate well with families and there is no collaboration whatsoeve...
