I do not recommend this school for many reasons. The main reason is the lack of teaching and hands on learning. . This school is a year behind public schools. With the small class sizes one would think there would be hands on learning but there is none. Teachers are on their phones behind a desk or in the hall gossiping. Students are often unsupervised. Bullying is a huge problem by students and teachers and "admin" is full of excuses. The best thing we did was leave this school

Have been a part of RO for 14 years. Excellent education and ready for college. Board has tried to take the school in a new direction the last few years pushing sports I haven't agreed with. It's definitely an academic school if that's what you are looking for.

With the small student/teacher ratio it gives more one on one with your child. River Oaks is like one big family and we have loved our years being involved with this school.

River Oaks is a great school - my son attended PK4 & is there for Kindergarten. The teachers are great & keep you informed regularly on your child's performance. Many activities for the kids to attend & he always loves going to school. Loves his teachers, he looks forward to going to school.
