My experience at Parkwood High School is amazing. The teachers and staff are like no other, they are alway there and make sure the students are ready for when they graduate, weather you are going to college or a trade. I wouldn't trade going Parkwood high school for anything, they have prepared me for the real world and I'm ready to see where it takes me.

I enjoyed my time at Parkwood High School. I played baseball all 4 years, first on the JV then 3 years on Varsity. I was also the Student Athletic Dept intern first semester of my senior year, and I spent a lot of time with the football, and basketball coaches and team. I announced their games. I go to college with several of my high school friends. Parkwood HS was a great experience for me.

Attending Parkwood High School has been a great opportunity for me. I don't necessarily enjoy school (I don't know anyone who does), but I am incredibly appreciative of the opportunities that have been presented to me there, from taking college level courses that continually challenge me, to making friendships that I never would have made otherwise. Every one of my teachers has been encouraging and dedicated to their students' success. If I had to change anything, I would ad a few more extracurricular programs that have people dedicated to their success. Specifically with the arts. There use to be an equestrian program as well that I was involved in, but it keeps fading in and out of existence. The other thing I would change is to make smaller classes. This is an issue all over the USA, but all the same, it is difficult to learn in the large crowded classes, and extremely hard for the teachers to make the individual needs of their students.

Amazing environment with teachers and administration that truly care. Faith and family school where kids are held accountable but the teachers provide guidance and great instruction. The school is a hidden gem where kids aren't made to feel they need to keep up with the Jones'.

This is the best high school ever. As a parent of 3 children, 2 who have already graduated from Parkwood, they had the best experience. The teachers, staff and administrators really care about the kids and it shows. Parkwood HS is the best kept secret in NC. Country living is the best!

Great school, veteran staff who care a lot, I'm so happy the Bond was passed to replaced the aging building. These students deserve the best!
