My High School is a decent school. Overall they focus on giving opportunities to students who are disadvantaged and provide free lunch. However, they have a horrible bathroom policy and leave many doors locked during school hours. They also rarely address bullying and there is little to no parent involvement in sports and academics.

I enjoy Monrovia High School. Overall, MHS is a great school with great academics, resources, and sports. I feel that MHS is a very well rounded school that has prepared me well for college. MHS has a great environment and culture for students to feel accepted, heard, and appreciated.

As a student and Monrovia High, I found that I was able to express myself in any way I wanted to. There was all sorts of programs and college gateway classes that I could take as electives to broaden my knowledge on many different subjects. The teachers were for the most part nice and fair. There are also all sorts of clubs devoted to diversity and acceptance like the GSA; gay straight alliance club.

We moved to Monrovia last year. My child started as a freshman at Monrovia High School without knowing anyone. She made friends quickly and when I attended Back to School Night, all of her teachers knew her well. The teachers seemed engaged and caring. The administration is approachable, friendly, a...

Put 3 kids through MHS, all had a wonderful experience and went on to college. The new renovations make this school one of the most beautiful in the county;now rivals San Marino, and the football team gets more recognition every year.
