There are many pros and cons here at Montclair high School. It has amazing teachers who are very knowledgeable in the subjects they teach. They are very flexible with grades as long as you are willing to show your effort and dedication to growing. However, the community of students have a huge lack of desire for success. If you are not careful with who you become friends with, you will become just like them and end up dropping out.

The best part was that I had all my friends there. The worst part is that a lot of us took the same exact classes, there was a lack of variety in classes, especially those that were Honors/AP classes.

Montclair is a very average highschool with good and bad staff and nothing too out of the ordinary. While I didn't hate my time here I also didn't love it.

I am disappointed by the Cavalier Staff. Outwardly they appear to really care and pull for the students. In fact, they don't. Like everything in life the kids at the school are just a number. Sad.
