Montclair high school is pretty great. You get a great education and it's easy to ask the teachers for help. And there aren't definitely no shortages or clubs. The only thing that could be changed is the curriculum for some courses. Some teachers focus on teaching what they want and not what's supposed to be taught.

During my experience at Montclair High School I had many good teachers who were devoted to teaching students and engaging them which was a great experience but there were also many issues with facilities during my time at the school including stairs collapsing and having to learn in trailers parked in the parking lot many without heat or ac.

My overall experience with Montclair High School has been pretty good. I think my school offers a variety of academics, including a variety of APs that I've personally taken advantage of and greatly enjoyed. It's easy to take for granted what you have in front of you, and while MHS has its own problems, it has served me well and I'd recommend the school to others.

Our children took Latin Honors, AP course, Mandarin, Old German and participated in the Yale Model Congress, the Classical League, the players at Montclair High School. Our eldest child learned programming and digital advertising and excelled in Honors economics here. The architectural design of the...

I graduated from the high school in 2012. In my experience, teachers hardly ever held authoritative roles in the classrooms. The school was pretty much a free for all. It remained up to the student to apply themselves in classrooms as necessary otherwise it was easy to fall behind.
