I enjoyed the athletics but the academics need to be worked on. We are behind other schools when it comes to academics. We are not ready for standardized test like other surrounding areas. We are a few weeks from graduation and Instead of the administration trying to help us succeed it's like they are trying to fail us. There's no type of support for Seniors and there need when it comes to getting ready for college.

Macon County High School is filled with eager, diverse and smart children. The teachers are very hard working. Each day attended counts. It is never a dull day. Everyday you are taught something new. The school really makes sure you are satisfied and leave the building with knowledge and confidence. I am so glad and honored I attended this school.

The school is moving forward and making adjustments to all these new rules. The staff is caring and the principal is focused on preparing the students for their post secondary options. There is room for greater parent involvement.

Do NOT send your children to this school. Having recently graduated, I can say that this school is terrible. It does nothing but give your children a diploma.
