While Riverton Parke is a small community school where you know all of your classmates and teachers personally, it doesn't necessarily do a good job preparing you for college. It doesn't really teach you how to study, and most of the programs can be behind. However, overall, it is a good school that gets you through the state standards.

Riverton is quite the experience! Mostly positive things rather than negative. There are so great teachers there and are really involved with their work and enjoy it more than others.

Riverton Parke has good things and bad things. One of the good things is block scheduling. I personally think that block scheduling prepares you for how your work will be set up in college: a different class every other day. One of the bad things about this school is the lack of discipline. It is a tobacco free campus, but students are often caught chewing or smoking and only receive a warning. Teachers and other faculty members can also be seen using tobacco.

Special education staff at the junior/senior high school level is not a supportive group for the students with special needs who are in their care. The SPED staff can be often petty, unprofessional, and will sometimes gossip about the students' personal lives and the personal affairs of the teaching...

This school is definitely the WORST school i’ve ever attended. The criteria, staff, education style, and leadership is a joke. Do not recommend (i’ve been attending for 2 1/2 years now)
