I am very satisfied with my experience at Moon High School over my four years. The faculty are all so friendly and helpful and have truly made my time here worth it. You can tell they all are very passionate about what they teach and will do almost anything to make you better I feel very ready for higher education.

There are a few good food options in our cafeteria. The sports teams are sometimes good, but the coaches are usually bad. Almost none of the teachers care about anything other than the grades. The music/theatre programs are pretty good. There is almost no school spirit or parent involvement.

My experience with the school has been good in many cases but also there are areas for improvement. There are many teachers who truly care and want the students to learn and develop and help them in numerous ways. But there are also teachers who don't seem to care and when all the students are doing below average or average do not take the time to adjust and try and make changes. Some of the resources (computers) given to upper classmen could be much better and faster. I do wish they offered more elective choices for students to look in other interests. There is a big focus on music at Moon and although that can be great for some students it is not an interest for others. Overall I am happy with the education my children are receiving throughout the school district and I am grateful for those teachers who are there to answer questions even on the weekends and evenings when students are studying and doing homework (I just wish there were more teachers with this same mindset).

This school is the best in the area, no question. With the new campus built and the great staff members, this school is just well rounded and amazing. I am a sophomore and I have been going to Moon my whole life and I am proud to say so.
