As a fellow student at Lake Norman, all students are very close knit and respectful of each other. The academics is very competitive, with my 4.3gpa not even getting me into the top 100 students in my 480 student class. The academics and school pride is taken very seriously. Historically we have very good athletics, making deep runs into state playoffs in multiple sports, every year, as well as a top tier student section.

Overall Lake Norman high school is a great school to finish out your "childhood". I have many fond memories and loved every teacher I got the opportunity to have. Having younger siblings who will also one day be lkn alum I know their experience will be as fun and memorable as mine!

While not the best school in the country, I believe that Lake Norman was able to provide an adequate high school experience that is on par with education standards.

I would recommend the school, but I have one criticism that the school should deal with.There is an English teacher who teaches juniors and seniors and should be let go. Wether it’s from the lack of care from most of the staff (I mean all of the people that work there) or it’s from constant issues and drama that’s going on that students shouldn’t be in....

Zero! The administration needs to be completely changed. They are all lazy and do such a disservice to these students. Teachers follow their example and It has become apathetic .
