The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Butler county is a very welcoming place. The best part is it's a small school and I feel like everyone is fairly nice to each others. We have good bonds with teachers as well. The worst experience is probably that there is not as many opportunities as maybe a bigger school. I think that a change in student involvement would make our school a lot better.

I don't go to school here but, I did not see a Home School option. I do participate in the Butler County Young Republicans Club which has its meetings at Butler County High School. I am involved in 4-H which is next to Butler County High School so, I am able to socialize with other high school students who go to Butler County High School.

There's not a lot of ethnic/racial diversity. Mostly Caucasian country kids. There has begun to be more diversity with sexual orientation though
