Morris Community High School is a very welcoming school where all students seem to be able to find their friend group and a sense of community. I think that the only thing I would change is to make the staff more consistent and with less turnover, but all in all I had a great experience!!

As a parent MCHS has provided a safe learning environment for my child for the last almost 4 years. Teachers encourage my child to do her best and assist in additional learning resources to prepare for important examinations or better understanding of course material. As an athlete coaches award my child for her performance as a player and her ability to be a positive role model to her underclass peers.

Some teachers are amazing at what they do, some are not. But that is how most schools are. Could use some renovations.

Thank God we moved out of Morris. If you are not a native of Morris, a diehard football fanatic Or in a particular group or click, you are not accepted or wanted. Football is all they care about. My son was not in football, was largely ignored by the populous and grades showed he had a problem. Did...

Besides the fact the school itself is older than about 90% of the teachers, there is a homey feel to it at some times, but that's about where it stops. There are "rednecks" that think it's cool to display the Confederate flag, so called "juggalos" & "goths", wannabe stoners, & then the stereotypical...

Led by caring, involved administrators with many smart, hard working teachers. The school environment seems safe. The school acknowledges some areas that need to improve and works at solutions. Solid communication from school to parent. Areas that could improve include more diverse offerings such as...
