Lawrence County High School is a great family environment. Our community is great at supporting our school. We have a lot of clubs and organizations so everyone is involved.

LC isn't the best school, but it's by far not the worst. Given the resources that it has, it does very well.

During my years at LCHS, I realized how much it can be a disadvantage going to a school in a small rural town. The school is focused on sports and the tech school across the street. When it comes to the arts and sciences LCHS is lacking.

Every school has it's social acceptance where students are concerned. If you're very smart you're in the " in crowd" . If you're struggling with low grades " Oh, well" There are a few exceptions to some of the teachers, The Principle, Mr. Jones, seems to have ALL the students best interest at heart....
