The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

I have gone to Mount Ida Schools since preschool. I believe its a good school for how small it is. The education given there is not the best and could probably be worked on. It is still a good small town school.

I don't feel prepared for college whatsoever. I like my teachers and peers but I don't feel like I am ready for the real world.
Mt. Ida middle school is an awful school with mostly hateful teachers and principle. I attended this school and the teachers were very good but the students are very immature (considering they grow up in such a isolated town) They all act as though they are still in 3rd grade. Overall it wasnt a bad experience but the students were very annoying.
