GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

What I like about Mount Ida High School is that the teachers are nice and don't leave you out. They provide good education and are there to help you. What I would change about it is we need more school activities other than sports. I would also change the lunch sometimes it good, but sometimes it's not so some students go hungry.

I liked that Mount Ida High school was a small school where we all knew each other and our families. I liked that teachers were willing to work with you if you asked. I liked that I was allowed to take my classes online and was allowed to be challenged through AP classes. I would like to see changes in more opportunities in sports and classes offered. I would like to see more participation and activities in the school clubs.

I have gone to Mount Ida Schools since preschool. I believe its a good school for how small it is. The education given there is not the best and could probably be worked on. It is still a good small town school.

Mt. Ida middle school is an awful school with mostly hateful teachers and principle. Everything is based on what your last name is as to what you can get away with and weather or not you have to follow the rules. The middle school principal is very unfair and judgmental. She has kids she likes and k...

Mount Ida High School is not where you want you your child to attend. This school is the most inadequate school I have ever attended. The majority of students are all entitled and rude, thinking they know more than any of the teachers, and their parents endorse that behavior. Bullying due to jealous...

This school is an absolute joke from the teachers, coaches as well as the prin and super. I have never seen anything more depressing toward our world than seeing this school promote HATE and small town politics to the students by the teachers and the parents. If you are not from this area, you will...

I attended this school and the teachers were very good but the students are very immature (considering they grow up in such a isolated town) They all act as though they are still in 3rd grade. Overall it wasnt a bad experience but the students were very annoying.
