GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have enjoyed my years I have attended North Duplin Junior/Senior High School. It is a small school, but has grown over the years. The faculty members are always helpful and kind. The coaches are great. We have a great athletics program. With the upcoming growth, I would like to see changes made on campus; adding more classrooms, a bigger parking lot, and more options for lunch. The only problem I have ever had was the distance to our cafeteria is a bit of a walk, therefore it cuts down on the actual time I have to eat my lunch.

North Duplin High School is a pretty campus and I am so happy that the FFA club is excelling so much more over the past few years. I hate to say it but this school, at least at the time when I was attending it, focused mostly on athletics and those they played sports. There was a lot of favoritism wrapped up with certain teachers and students. However, all of the faculty and staff were very good at getting everyone ready for graduation and college the closer it got to having to focus on those things.

I like how there are teachers that are organized and know how to expose their class. There are some that are more comprehensive than others.
