GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Most of the teachers go above expectations to make sure you are understanding the materials that are being taught.

They have a very good educational program as well as the teachers actually care about the students rather than just being there and teaching because it is their job. During my time at Mount Union I learned so many things and made many great friends with in the activities that the school had to offer. There was also several opportunities for trips and ways to learn things differently like going to FBLA states in Hershey PA to compete against other schools.

My experience from Mount Union Area High School can be ranked as 4 stars out of 5. Every high school has its good and bad times. I have been at Mount Union for 6 years (7th-12th). Out of those years my final year was the best year I had. When they tell you that your senior year is the best year, they aren't lying to you. I made the most out of everything my school had to offer. My school has an abundant amount of opportunities and activities that they offer.
