The principal, Kate Stanton is the worst principal I've been around. My daughter was falsely accused of something minor that she had no part or knowledge of. Our family loves Washington Elementary. The classrooms are small, the staff is loving and so happy to be there, and the community really actively supports families in Mount Vernon. The PTO is excellent and even though there has been some turnover with principals I have found the staff to be very pro...
