GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best part about MVTHS was the helpful teachers. The teachers made sure we knew what we were doing and helped us whenever we needed. The worst part was that some teachers went to fast with their lesson plans so most of us couldn't keep up with the lessons. I would like to see some teachers put more effort and time into those lessons so we can all do well and know what we are doing to not feel discouraged.

i have had a decent high school experience here and the staff was friendly and helpful, but the kids were awful they were so rude, violent, and disgusting and the staff couldn't help it because these kids were just that bad. the school itself is fine and most of the teachers and staff are great it is just the kids that cause the problems

The administration is fine with their teachers dating freshly graduated students that they taught for years. I would never send my children here.

Like all secondary schools.... High school is what parents and students choose to make it. If you push your child to take advanced and AP courses your child will be well prepared for college. Mvths also offers advanced college prep programs for students interested in the medical field or engineering...
