Central is academically excellent, but has a few problems with the student body and teachers. There is an utter lack of diversity, but that it the same with most magnet schools. The student culture can be very toxic at times, as it is extremely competitive. The teachers vary widely, but most are (no offense) forgettable. Some of them are genuinely awful teachers that focus more on getting through the material than taking the time to teach it.

The teachers and all of the staff are extremely helpful and sweet. It is a great learning environment and students are always encouraged to try their best.

As a 6th grade I haven't been at Central that long but I plan to stay here until I graduate. It can be stressful because the expectations and standards are so high. I miss my friends and teachers from my old school but here I have learned a lot that other schools wouldn't provide.

Central has great academic courses and outstanding teachers! This school really focuses on college readiness, therefore it offers over 30 AP courses and all classes are honors level or above.
