The best part of my high school experience at Assumption High is the honors classes. I officially started my honors class experience junior year. These teachers try their best, they're very organized, and I found myself actually learning the material. The regular courses tend to be untidy.

Assumption High is really just a basic, local, small-town high school. Overall, there are no defining features to make it particularly special or bad. I have had a great 4 years and would recommend this school to any parent/student that's just wanted to go to high school and a regular college. Anyone wanting a future SEC or D1 athletic experience or to go to a top 50 school should go someplace more rigorous, but I love Assumption High.

As of my senior year, a lot of changes have come to the school, which are better for the future students. I would like to see more clubs be offered to students rather than just Student Council, sports, etc.

I went here till 10th grade. I quite because a TEACHER called me stupid and when I brought it to the heads of the school I was told it was my fault for not listening to her and all she got was a tap on the wrist like a kid would get for not listening. I will not enroll my future kids here if it was...
