Assumption High is really just a basic, local, small-town high school. Overall, there are no defining features to make it particularly special or bad. I have had a great 4 years and would recommend this school to any parent/student that's just wanted to go to high school and a regular college. Anyone wanting a future SEC or D1 athletic experience or to go to a top 50 school should go someplace more rigorous, but I love Assumption High.

As of my senior year, a lot of changes have come to the school, which are better for the future students. I would like to see more clubs be offered to students rather than just Student Council, sports, etc.

Assumption High is a school i would not recommend if it's not the only option for you. They bother students about all the wrong things and when it comes down to something that really matters they don't care .

I went here till 10th grade. I quite because a TEACHER called me stupid and when I brought it to the heads of the school I was told it was my fault for not listening to her and all she got was a tap on the wrist like a kid would get for not listening. I will not enroll my future kids here if it was...
