One of the good things about attending this school is the connections you make with certain teachers. Some of the teachers actually try to make a connection with their students and not take things so seriously all the time. Another great thing is probably the school tradition. One thing that isn't so great about the school is how poc students have to deal with racism on a daily basis. Our complaints about racism aren't really taken seriously. The discrimination is definitely something I would like to see change.

My overall experience at Berrien High School has been mostly pretty great. The best part, for me, would be the teachers that actually helped students succeed. Another thing I really enjoy at Berrien High is game day, the school spirit my classmates have is 10 out of 10. One thing I would change would be to allow students to leave campus to get lunch, School lunches can be weird or tasty funny.

I would like to see teachers teaching more traditionally than with computer programs. Children need that human interaction than looking at a screen. Teachers are more proctors or facilitating than teaching.

I used the time to drive around the community and to visit a real estate office in case my son got the job. I...

BHS is great! I'm only a freshman there, but it is wonderful. The lunches have definently improved, immensely. The teachers are absolutley the best. They all connect with their students, and go out of their way to give every student an equal oppurtunity to succeed. The student body is very diverse,...
