My daughter has had a bad experience here simply because her teacher will not explain some math problems that she doesn't understand. Even though it's a magnet school, kids still need extra help. Meigs is a great school and has good education. Teachers are nice, and some are strict. It does go in lockdowns but things are usually happening outside the school. There have been fights and most of them have been outside, i have only seen two fights inside. I feel like teachers should try to watch...

I went to Meigs for middle school and my family and I was ecstatic to find out I had gotten in, only to realize it's nothing more than an average middle school.
