I have had a lot of good experiences at Negaunee High School. They keep their students safe and help them to learn. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of opportunities for kids who are not interested in playing sports, which I am not

Academics at Negaunee are great - everyone has the opportunity to take at least four years of math and four years of science. While the curriculum can be as difficult or as easy as you want, there will always be support for you whether it be in a teacher or a study group. One thing I would like to see change is the school's absolute devotion to sports. I understand that sports and pep rallies get most people together, but there aren't many other options for extracurriculars. A friend and I started an art club in the fall of 2017 and we got a decent response; however, we didn't get a ton of support from the faculty.

Negaunee HighSchool is the average small town school. There's not very many special things that sets it apart from any other school though. The classes are pretty easy, and really basic. They do a pretty good job at teaching you, but nothing more than that. It would be nice if they put more effort in making students want to learn rather than "just getting it done".
