From pre-K through fifth grade, teachers and staff at Neptune Beach Elementary are dedicated to academic excellence and creating a positive educational experience for all. Home of the Manatees, students and parents at Neptune Beach enjoy plenty of activities and hands-on fun with an active event calendar, including programs like Camp-Read-A-Lot, Space Day, Dr. Seuss' Birthday and more. After school, students can join in with The Lego Club, art, running or even a xylophone club. The faculty at Neptune Beach works diligently to provide a challenging curriculum at every grade level. With plenty of helpful resources and quality teachers, students are testing at higher-than-average levels compared to other schools in Florida. The school offers a rigorous academic program, including the use of Reflex, a research-based math fact proficiency program, and Achieve 3000, which accelerates literacy and provides math instruction. In 2021, it was a Microsoft Showcase School nominee. Additionally, Neptune Beach participates in community events throughout the year, including beach clean-ups and making snack packs for the homeless.

Some of these teachers need to be replaced. A few of the teachers who have children also attending school at NBE are very cliquey and show preferential treatment to the children who are friends with their kids.
